Albert Camus was a French philosopher, author, and a journalist. Winner of the prestigious Nobel Prize in Literature at the age of 44 in 1957, the second youngest recipient in history.
Camus was born in Algeria to French parents. Spent his childhood in a poor neighbourhood and later studied philosophy at the University of Algiers
His most notable work included The Stranger and The Myth of Sisyphus.
Camus was an excellent student who loved football. His football dream came to an end as he was diagnosed with tuberculosis. The very same disease kept him from becoming a teacher later in life too.
Nothing stopped him from writing though, and in 1957 he received the Nobel Prize in Literature.
His quotes continue to inspire millions of his followers around the globe. Here are the best Albert Camus Quotes.
